GED 2002 (Current)

GED Preparation

Let P12 help you pass the GED test before it changes in 2014!  The current version of the GED test will expire on December 31, 2013, and even the parts you have already passed will expire.  Finish the test now so you won’t have to retake the parts you’ve already passed and can focus on achieving your goals.

Our online solution allows you to conveniently access the core competencies of the GED so that prep work can be completed wherever Internet is available.  Through the use of practice tests, our solution gives students an idea of what the test will be like, help you to identify areas that need work by giving immediate feedback, and let you know that the test is a mountain worth climbing.  Results from the assessments will determine your own learning path toward successful completion.

The GED test is made up of five tests, each measuring skills and knowledge that the average high school student should have mastered.  These tests focus on academic skills and concepts rather than simply the memorization of specific facts.  The tests are in the following areas:

  • Language Arts, Reading

  • Language Arts, Writing

  • Mathematics

  • Science

  • Social Studies

The current test is offered in two formats: paper and computer.

  • Pencil-and-paper testing is delivered in a testing center using a test booklet and answer sheet.

  • Computer testing is delivered in a testing center on a computer and requires basic computer skills.

P12 has taken an objective-oriented approach to helping students reach their academic goals.
